There are three band periods at Alvarado Jr. High!  The 7th/8th combined band meets during 2nd period and is the 2nd Jr. Varsity ensemble; the 8th grade band meets during 3rd period and is the varsity ensemble; and the 7th grade band meets during 4th period and is the 1st Jr. Varsity ensemble.

bullet(7/8/02) Welcome Mr. Senzig!  Mr. Senzig will be the new Jr. High Assistant and conduct the non-varsity ensemble.
bullet(6/21/02) Welcome Mrs. Parr!  Mrs. Parr is our new Head Jr. High Director and conducts the varsity ensemble.

bullet(6/5/02)  Twenty-five students attending summer band camps at Tarleton and U.T.A.  Thanks Band Boosters!
bullet(5/21/02)  All Jr. High Bands receive Div.1 at Schliterbuahn Wave Review Music Festival.
bullet(4/26/02)  Varsity and Jr. Varsity Bands receive Div.1 in Concert at UIL in Burleson.
